Quincy Mothers’ Cooperative

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to join?
It costs $20 a year to become a member of Quincy Mothers' Cooperative

When I pay my $20 dues, what do I get?
Each month you will get a newsletter delivered to your inbox containing all the Quincy Mothers' Cooperative events scheduled for that month. In addition, each month QMC organizes weekly playgroups, a monthly Mom's Night Out at a local restaurant, a pot-luck at a member's home, a special children's activity and a monthly planning meeting. We also have large holiday parties for Halloween, the Holiday Season and Spring/Easter. And if that isn't enough already – when you subscribe to the QMC on-line group it provides you with a forum to ask questions, read about local happenings and draw on the support and insight of many other mothers.

Do I have to live in Quincy to join?
No, our members are from Quincy and surrounding communities.

What are the ages of the children in your group. Is it for babies only?
We have a wide age range of kids in our group from infants to teens. We try to offer a bit of everything for every family. In addition, we feel that we are a strong supporter of Moms - so we have lots of mom only (unless of couse you have a wee one that you need to bring along) activities. Also we try to schedule family events as well, so dads/partners feel included too.

What is the newsletter like? May I see a sample?
Here is a sample newsletter for December. Click here to view.
